- I have a weakness for real Chinese food. American Chinese is okay, but authentic Chinese is a thousand times better.

- While I very often prefer to spend hours at a time locked up in my room, physical exercise is important to me. Basketball, martial arts, and American football are among my athletic interests.

- I’m a lefty.

- Science fascinates me, but I’ve never been interested enough to get deeply into it.

- I can go weeks without listening to or playing any music. I view it as an extra, not a necessity. But I do love it.

- I play the guitar, and I’ve tried the alto saxophone and the piano.

- The taste and effects of coffee are disgusting, but I don’t mind the smell.

- I find designing web pages as entertaining as playing a game… except when I can’t figure out why something works.

- I’m a perfectionist. I’ll go a mile out of my way to fix a typo.

- Sometimes I’m sick of being a perfectionist and leave typos alone just to prove to myself that I’m not that picky… but I really am.

- I love my family.

- I don’t think my parents are stupid, lame, or out to ruin my life. In fact, I like them, and we get along just fine.

- Friendships are funny things with me. I choose very carefully whom I trust, and have an extremely small circle of close friends, but I’m friendly with almost everyone.

- I think living in China made me suspicious of a lot of things I shouldn’t be suspicious of. Then again, maybe my house is bugged and maybe I am being followed. ;-)

- Animals love me and I love them

- I’m allergic to cats, but I like them anyway.

- I love jokes and often think the really corny ones are the funniest.

- When I try to tell a joke I’ve heard before, I usually mess it up somehow.

- At times I have a very dry sense of humor.

- I think physical exercise is important.

- One of my favorite exercises is pull-ups/chin-ups.

- I also love to bike.

- My toes pop.

- I’ve written programs in C++ and Visual Basic, but am not very good at either.

- Generally, my “favorite” season is whichever is the current one. So I don’t really have a favorite.

- I’ve lived in three countries.

- When I wake up in the night needing water, I sometimes walk to the kitchen (down the stairs and on the other side of the house) with my eyes closed so I can know what it feels like to be blind.

- Or I’ll have them shut, for the above reason, while I tie my shoes, dribble a basketball, or write.
